drifika peak Expedition

In Pakistan's Karakoram Mountains, Charakusa Glacier is home to the Drifika (6447m) Peak. For experienced climbers, Drifika presents a significant challenge and is regarded as one of the hardest peaks in the Karakoram that are below 6500 metres to ascend. The Japanese expedition team headed by Akiya Ishimura summited The Peak for the first time in 1978.
